That's from one engine

Think fuel got in it or what?

No, oil looks and smells good. I think Ski Dock in Austin overfilled it during the 10 hr service

Wow that's a lot of oil. I have the same oil extractor and I think my old oil came up to the 3rd line from the bottom with each engine.

Yeah, I already called them and said WTF guys?

Any long term repercussions in having 2 extra quarts of oil? I check the air filter and it was dry

I would check the air filters just to make sure no oil made its way to the element. If dry you're good. No reason to take your boat in for 10 hr service only to get ripped off and shoddy work. This is why I do all my own work so I know it's done right. Your boat will probably crank easier and be thankful to you for many miles lol.

Agree, it was a complete rip. $500+. I'm glad I decided to do it myself. If you want it done right...

P.s. air filters were dry

One other thing I would do is pull the spark plugs to make sure there's no oil on them. If not you're probably good to go.

I'm changing the plugs tomorrow

^^^ this x 100

Btw my new to me boat was overfilled exactly the same. Don't sweat it James. Fix the problem and never go there again.

Whenever I pay to have somebody service one of my cars, before I move the car, I always open up the hood and check the oil, filter, etc. Everybody makes mistakes, but you're left without a boat (probably for a season) or car if they don't do it right. So if I don't do the work, I double check theirs. Nobody will ever care as much about your things as you do.

That's insane! I have the same vacuum pump and did my own 10 hour service. Each engine filled the pump to about half way between the 3rd and 4th rib. Changed all plugs and they looked good. Greasing the shaft bearing took the longest not because it was hard but I kept measure how many pumps it would take to get to the required 33 - 35 CCs to ensure my gun was consistent. All in all, took me about 5 hours taking my time.

Geez hope they didn't put both engine oils in 1 engine because that means the other may be empty

No drop cloth to cover the hydo Turf . Did you successfully get the oil changed without dripping anything on the turf ? That stuff loves to absorb oil and leave spots that are hard to remove

I remove my hydro turf and still put down a drop cloth.?
