Does anyone know the seal number for the Shorelander trailer? I intend to re-pack the bearings this weekend and would like to have the seals on hand as opposed to running to town once I have it apart.

They are standard size for 3500 lbs axles, you can pick them up almost anywhere. I get my spare hub parts at the local Tractor Supply or at Northern Tools. Some auto parts stores also carry bearing/seal parts.

Orielly auto parts carries the seals for my MFI trailer. That was varified this past weekend when I needed a new rear seal.

Thanks for the info guys.

I found the parts at Car Quest.
Inner Bearing: National Bearings A-17
Outer Bearing: National Bearings A-4
Seal: Car Quest 470460

You can search for the Shorelander trailer that was supplied for your moat model using the link below.

I purchased 5 seals, 1 inner bearing/race and 1 outer bearing/race. I am heading down to Shasta Lake tomorrow morning (1,300mi round trip), and wanted to have a spare set on hand.

When I pulled the hubs of of each wheel, I did notice something interesting. 3 weeks ago I had my calipers stick on the way home from the lake, boiling out the grease fron the rear axles. Knowing that I would need to re-pack soon, I decided to pump the Bearing Buddy's full of grease to hold me over for a bit. I jacked each wheel up and spun the wheel as I pumped new grease in. When I pulled the hubs, I found that fresh grease had worked it's way all the way to the inner bearing. It was not properly packed, but there was quite a bit of fresh colored grease in there.
