I have been looking at Yamaha Jet Boats for a while now. My original plan was to hit the local boat show in Feb and make a final decision. I have spoken to two dealers in my area who both say they have only one left (in Sept). I’m curious your thoughts if this is a pressure tactic or what. If this is true what happens at the boat show? They will be showing 2022 boats that you can’t buy?

It seemed to be implied on another thread that they may be showing boats that are already presold.

I'm going to a large boat show on next week and I will let you know what I see there if they're sold or what's going on

Yamaha appears to be 90+% out of boats. Might change in Feb, but there are people on the forums who waited 6 months to only have their order canceled.

There is a new boat shortage. The boats in stock, if any at all, sell for over msrp and probably have been sold since you spoke with the sales rep. The pre orders may get you a physical boat in months to years if at all.
