Have a 2020 255ID with twin 300’s and I just want to make sure I cover all my basis and know where to clamp if we have to ever tow. The picture in the manual is terrible. Can anyone take a pic of twin 300s and show me where to place the clamp(s) if a tow is ever needed? In the manual the 300s look like they’re clamped in a different spot than the 250s. If it’s the same then I’ll take whatever pics I can get. Thanks in advance.

me as well, i would like to know even though i only have one 300

You know, they should really either have a valve built into these hoses or at least put a bright yellow sticker that says "CLAMP HERE IF BEING TOWED ABOVE 15MPH". This questions keeps coming up all the time.

You're right. My Chap has them built in. Should be standard on all jet boats.

Thank you so much. I feel so much better at least knowing. Not sure where you found that picture but so glad you did. And yes they absolutely should have a built in valve or mark. My dealer didn’t even mention it. Good thing I always read manuals. Thanks again.

Got it. Thanks again.

What type of clamp should you use?

Any large hose pincher will do. But the recommended part number is BRP 46717 or equivalent Sea-Doo part number 529032500.

Both look like this. 1598897526456.png
