Trying to wrap my head around all the audio I am adding. I bought a pair of tower speakers and amp for those. A sub and mono amp, 6 6.5” speakers for cabin area. Reusing wiring for cabin speakers. Everything other than cabin speakers work on the ws 420. I am assuming since the cabin speakers are not on an amp and plugged into headunit, that I cannot control those is that correct?

Correct in my experience. The 420 SQ is designed to go through amps, not directly to speakers. And you’ll find that if you add an amp for the cabin speakers, they’ll sound a lot better.

In my set up, I use the 420 for the tower/swim platform, the 4 main cabin speakers and the sub and then I added a line leveller to control the bow speakers separately from the 4 cabin speakers.

I bought this enclosure so I could mount the line leveller nicely beside the 420. Not cheap but very well made.
