I am in the process of looking to buy a yamaha 2017 190. The boat I am looking at was a former boat club boat. The company sells their boats after 2 years of usage. Not sure if that time it was always in the water. It is in Florida so yes salt water. Should I be concerned? what should I look for it if was?

Why? Better boats out there with one loving owner. I'd buy from the for sale section of this site personally.

I agree with the above reply I would not by a boat from a club being that most the time they’re going to be full throttle with Little Care of the motor.

Price and your long-term prospects would be important to consider. If you are getting a boat for 2 years at a steal of a price (and then planning on trading it out), this might not be a bad option. However, if you are planning on having a boat for 5+ years and the price is basically the same as other 1-owner, fresh-lake run boats, this might not be the fit for you.
