Yamaha 2021 212xe windshield BC6 vs VLGC2?

Hi,

Need to order a windshield, parts are listed as BC6 vs VLGC2? Does anyone happen to understand the difference & which one is correct for a Texas 2021 212xe, green?

Speculating that BC = blue color & GC = green color, but looking for a confirmation.

I believe some of these boats have gray windshield frames, and some have black. My green 212xe is gray. The Blue ones I’ve seen have black frames.

Spoke to my dealer today while there to pick up a part, and just happened to ask about delivery of new boats. He mentioned Yamaha has 100s of boats sitting waiting on windshields- big supply issue

Getting parts has been a nightmare, primarily many are not available & there is no availability estimate. Windshields are an example as you mentioned. But there are numerous others, like blown OEM speaker replacements. I have been waiting a year now.

Ultimate solution was a new Centurion. If anyone is looking for a 50 hour 2021 212xe near Austin (minus windshield), do ping me.
