Yamaha 222S or 222XE

New to the forum. I currently have a 195s and looking at maybe getting a bigger boat. Im looking at either the 222s or the 222XE. Im wanting to be able to wakesurf along with other water sports. The 222xe is about 10k more but I'm not sure if I can justify the extra cost mainly for the built in ballasts and wakebooster. I'm also not a huge fan of adding external ballasts either. I guess my question is will I regret not spending the extra 10k for the 222xe down the road?

Personally, I think XE set up is more convenient than adding all the extra stuff to S.
Say extra stuff cost you $2k. Is it worth saving $8k and dragging and setting all the extra stuff every time you want to surf?

I was set on buying AR250, but when I showed up at the dealer and compared AR with SE and SD I decided to spend extra $20k on SE. Another $10k for pedal shifters on SD was not worth it for me. Extra $20k is huge premium but I like drive by the wire and extra stuff I got with SE. AR would be fine, but eventually I would spend on marine mat, upgrading sound, getting underwater seating, and potentially trying to sync throttles. Still there is potential savings in that.

So personal preference.
I would probably go with XE and keep it longer.
