Welcome! Others could probably comment better on the price, but with those options and accessories you wouldn't have to do anything to it besides put it in the water and have fun.

Does this boat belong to a member here?

At face value for what you're describing here, assuming it checks out and all is in good shape. That is consistent pricing, not a steal, but a reasonable price.

Asking price at 66 if you can get it for 62 that would be a great price. That stereo must sound amazing hrs are high for a 17 but looks like fresh water boat . Not sure how your registration works but you can sometimes save a lot on taxes depending on how your state collects them.

For comparison, I just paid $59k for a 2017 242x with about 25 hours but no upgrades. Also no trailer but just picked up a 2019 shorelandr for $1,200. So about $60k all in.

Upgrades are nice though. It's not a bad price if you were going to do the stereo and want to do wake surf.

Idk how this compares to x series but this is listed loalScreenshot_20190228-164430_Facebook.jpg

My opinion is 60k sounds right with no upgrades. That thing has nearly every upgrade someone could want and the best of the best. Lets say over $10k total worth. You Usuaully dont get back everything you put in for customization though. That said 66k is im the ball park. I also have to believe there is a better than 90 percent chance that boat belongs to someone who at least reads this site a lot (given the upgrades include jbp amd gatlin) which means they likley picked up good info on maintaining and the little stuff too. I would also guess that they are purchasing a big cubic inch V drive.

Not sure if you only want the X but I paid 67k for brand-new 18 242 E. I would have a hard time dropping new E type money on a X with that many hours. I think 2018 and up have the 12inch screen and electronic throttles??

We are going to have a hard time convincing you to spend money on your boat. That one has almost everything.
I would not even blink an eye at 148 hours.

I think that's too close to the cost for a new one. But just my two cents.

Price seems to be in the neighborhood, but I'd want to be 3-5K lower to be happy with it.

I use buford ga and 44 mile radius as my search paramaters. Under Yamaha boat

The main differences in the X and the SE are the ballast bags and the sound system. The upgrades are nice, but you never get on a resale, what you invested....it is more like a good selling point. 146 hours is not alot of hours on a boat at all, but for a boat that new it is fairly high. I agree with some of the other posters here...not a bad price, but certainly not a great price. I would offer $60k hoping he would counter and you could end up somewhere in the middle. Good luck....either way, you are getting a great boat, reasonable price, and will have alot of fun!
