I purchased a new Yamaha OEM mooring cover, but I'm mulling it over now if maybe I should keep for quickly covering the boat in a rain storm.
 
I didn't get one, but people use if for long-term storage or transportation instead of the mooring cover.

keep the shipping cover to go over your mooring cover during winter storage. I have done that the last couple of seasons and it keeps your good cover looking nice. It’s a snug fit but you can make it work.
