I have 2015 242 Limited S, all my lights are controlled via Connext screen, cabin lights and docking lights, I have idea to connect underwater light with Docking light switch, so when i press the Dock light the under water light will also come on, this way i dont need extra switches, my question is do they have some kinda step up or step down device that i will be able to wire through the wires from the docking lights and power my under water lights ? I am not sure if i can just hot wire it directly to dock lights wires, what will be the voltage limit blah blah blah…anyone have any ideas how we can get this done ?

Don’t do that. If it’s a bright light it’s gonna draw too many amps.
