Yamaha jet boat pilot hole not draining when flushing engine

Good afternoon everyone!
I have a 2021 252SD Yamaha jet boat and while I was flushing the engines today I noticed that the port engine cool water pilot pre hole was not draining water when it usually does. The starboard engine pee hole was flushing just fine but not the port. Any thoughts on what it could and how to fix, if needed…. Thank you!!!
