I have seen some impressive hour amounts on the older MR1 engines, but not much feedback on the 1.8's. I am trying to gauge how long these engines will last if properly taken care of.

2 seasons up north and I've got just shy of 70 on my supercharged 1.8.

I put 650 on my supercharged 1800

I did this about a year back and I think the highest I found was in the 300-400 hour range on a 1.8 and it was still running just fine.

I already have 275 each on my 2014 1800 engines when I hit 500 I will do the pumps and drive shaft bearings.

Just shy of 50hrs on our 2015 242LS. ...dang almost time to change the oil again. :banghead:

3.6 hours....lol

206 on mine !

As of this summer every weekend a total of about 30

'16 VXR

Mine can't really be one of only two over the 226 hour mark, can it? :nailbiting:

I'm in the 220's also !!

Put a few more hours on that new baby of yours and change your vote @ar240owner! Haha

I will after this weekend :)

143 on my 13s

Just checked today before starting the oil changes. 327 on the port engine and 324 starboard. They were both at about 100 hours when I bought the boat used in 2012. I think the difference in hours is caused by the fact that when I move the boat a short distance at no wake speed (like when I reposition while drifting or have to maneuver around the docks or onto the trailer), I only turn the port engine on (since that is the first key looking left to right. I need to start using the starboard engine from now on. At rate I'm boating at now (less then before) it will be a at least 5 years before the two match up again, if ever.

350 on the 2014 that hatched the timing chain and 375 on the other 2014 o that probably will hatch a chain soon.
