Air filter mods

Then I would say, go to the RIVA site and check them out, write down the part number and do a search for the best pricing.
I remember when I replaced my stock filters, I went from 10,000 to 10,200 on the RPM's.
Not that you will notice any difference but the engines must be breathing better.
And in reality, I don't open it up that often, mostly I cruise at 7500 - 8000.

That being said,
60E-14451-00-00 Riva air cleaner element

now you can buy the factory originals for about $20 a piece cheaper, but they are still made of paper which sucks up the oil easier.
the Riva's are a (possibly) synthetic type which do not do this.
I have had mine in for about 3 -4 years now and they still are fine, RPM's haven't changed from top end.

I went with both the Velocity Stacks and the Riva filters. I noticed no real performance improvements but did notice the engine tone get a little deeper. I like the filters because they should be the last filters I buy for thus boat.

We carry all 3 brands of the aftermarket reuseable replacement filters/flame arrestors. Riva, R&D, and PROK. All are going to do exactly the same thing. We've been installing the PROK's just because theyre the lowest price.

@ISLANDRACING ... Thanks for the link! I'm going to check my filters out this spring and see how they look before I do anything. Is that filter washable and/or reusable?
