I went to dinner at HighPort marina Saturday nite. Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum...and... Well you know the rest. Missed the Saturday nite social but got to keep my boat in a covered slip at HighPort during the storm. Got back on the water mid morning after the rain and made it back to Buncome marina just in time to check out

I always enjoy our meet-ups but it sure was different for August. Cool, cloudy, and breezy!?!?!?! Kudos to @DCB-270 Dan and V for the fireworks show [flag]as well as a shout out to Jeb for The Worlds Best Jeb-Jerky. Mel, I somehow, once again, missed your famous guacamole. Some day.... Some day....:shamefullyembarrased:

Wow...you guys have a nice big lake with sand beaches. I am jealous.

Is that Chester studying the JetBoaters banner?

If you caught up with Pearce, Travis, or Dan, they all had a big container of it! Sorry we missed you guys mark and Liz.

Chester was so tired I'm sure he had trouble reading the banner @buckbuck ;)

We had a great time Saturday! The girls woke up a tad sick and Melanie and I didn't sleep well. That plus the rain and wind kept us off the water today. We loaded up, cleaned up and got home early. We did have a great time, and I took ZERO pictures so glad to see a few up here.

A great group of folks we have in this corner of the internet for sure...

Thank you Txav8tr & Jawsf16 for the coozie & for coming over to introduce yourselves! This site is amazing and I have learned a ton from members here. If you guys are ever in the Plano, TX. Area and need help just hit me up here!

Made it home, boat cleaned and put in storage. We had a great time meeting new friends! Next purchase is a shore spike!

Great to meet you too! That's a sharp looking new tower on your boat. I'm quite sure you could spend some SX210 owners' money if you post a pic or two!

That does look nice. It follows the boat lines quite well.

Sorry we missed y'all. The kids had friends along and didn't want to anchor so we hit Ray Roberts instead. Made it home before the storms hit. Catch you next time.

Good to meet you too @richardp1557 , sharp boat! See you on the waters! And welcome to the forum!
