Just heard from @ArmyChief that the group is back in Fort Lauderdale.

He says it took 2:05 for the group crossing and everyone made it ok.

For you painted trailer guys..... If you go home via I75 North there are lots of boat ramps in the Everglade along Alligator Alley that are fresh water.

Oh Man!!!! I want to see the look on the faces of the Airboat and Bass boat guys when they see a 242 or 230 backing down the ramp!!!

(For those that don't know, those ramps are for access to the everglades and swamp, so all you normally see there are bass boats and Airboats [think lots of camouflage] , a pleasure boat would be VERY out of place there.)

But it IS a great idea Murf. I'd definitely do it. Probably one of the FEW freshwater ramps in South Florida. Just beware of the alligators.

We are hanging out atleast until the 17 th or so. so We will be watching for the best crossing back day for us until then we are on island time.

Let us know...maybe SPOT info...so we can monitor

Added 5 gallons during rest stop at about 35 miles. When I got to Port Everglades, still had about 1/4 tank. Averaged 27-30 MPH.

On the road back. Nice crossing today in 2 hours time. Great week and enjoyed meeting all the new members of the Bimini club. Safe travels home!!!

Upperdeck and family is enroute back to wisconsin after dropping half our crew off at the airport. We also covered our crappy ubb's with bunk carpet.

Crossing was extremely smooth and took us about an hour and 45 minutes.

GREAT seeing all the familiar faces and meeting new members of the bimini club!

We changed condos and slips today then decided to relax at Bimini Sands. Tomorrow the forecast is showing the best water that we have had here with widely spaced waves in the 0.3' to 0.2' range. We are planning to head out to Victory Reef in the morning which will be around a 40 mile trip.

We can see the ocean, the entrance to North Bimini and our boat from the new condo in building 19. It is still a long way from the infinity pool.

Island problems that many of us following this thread would love to have. Extremely jealous you get to spend another week in paradise. Enjoy it!

I was doing 45 the entire time till we got 10 miles out, i had to slow down a bit

45 mph! Wow! I did around 33 mph, but I felt like going slower. I just kind of wanted to get it over with... and keep up with the group. I think that we arrived at Port Everglades in around 1 hour and 50 minutes. I had 45% fuel left. Very different than the crossing from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini, where I made it to Bimini Sands marina with my fuel alarm dinging and my gauge reading 0%. It was really great meeting you and your wife @1948Isaac.
