Here's some video from July 7th at Honeymoon Harbor. Sorry for not getting more people in the video. The videographer (my 14 year old) was more interested in snorkeling than socializing. It was a great day with great people. Thanks to the Bimini Jetboater leaders for making all of this possible. My boys really enjoyed the day. Everybody was so friendly... and really fun to be around.
They look great, he did a wonderful job we loved it. Sorry we left early. The trip back took 3hrs with to stops and less than a half tank used. Be safe leaving tomorrow.
my ocean cleansing process involves a cooler, a bucket/soap, and a day on the lake.......start with WOT runs all over the place........finish with a minor sub move,.....open cooler, crack beer...soap up inside.......repeat till suds are gone......prior to any ocean-ing...silicone spray everything..
leaving the aft buckles on the boat and plug out can dip the trailer and partially fill the nether regions.......makes you look like a pro at the boat launch too....
My concern is dipping a painted trailer. I cant say I'd do that........you cant rinse the insides out well enough
Boat "sank" up to the windows, total electric failure, nothing works so we cannot even clear the engines of water. $32k estimate on repairs so far. Insurance is gonna total it.

@MrMoose loved the videos, thanks for posting. I want to be there next year.
As a side note, I never swam with rays and always assumed they are not safe. Seeing them enjoying the party changed my view completely.
Wow @kthrash ! So sorry that you ended up losing your boat in this. When I read about it all on Monday I was hoping it was a real bad joke. I read into it more and realized that it wasn't and my heart sank. Last year they had such an easy go of the whole trip and was certain it would be a repeat this year. I hope your BIL is feeling ok. I'm glad the only lose you suffered was stuff and not a life. I hope this experience doesn't scar you and your family from doing something like this again.
Good luck and have fun with your shopping for a new boat. You've timed it pretty good because the summer boat show season is starting to kick in gear. The Dallas show just started this weekend.
When your circus settles down a little would you mind sharing what all happened? I remember seaweed clogged your intakes and big waves were involved.
We had a great finale party with everyone at the pool tonight. I hope you all have a smooth and uneventful crossing tomorrow.
@tim2808, I gave away the rest of my stock of flags so count me in for 20 more. We missed having you on the trip.
@justason, I gave away the rest of my koozies but I know you have more on order. I will be excited to see you again for Bimini 2016.
@Julian, the wives ganged up on me and want a JetBoater's wives forum to discuss their mutual suffering. Would you like to set it up or should I?
@kthrash, very sorry to hear about your boat but considering how much salt water was in there I agree that totaling is best. We enjoyed the time we spent together on the drive. Maybe we can meet up on Lake Ouachita or the Gulf sometime. We are going to stop by Biloxi for shrimp on the way home and could easily be talked into a trip out to Ship Island if you are back in the saddle by then.
@David Hoff, sorry about your boat and that I did not get to know you on the trip. I am glad that you have her running again.
