My trailer tongue is leaking. I think I need a new coupler. Or whatever it's called.

Check out etrailer.com and/or pacific trailer.

OK I think I have single Axel risk brake.

Taking the brake cable off the actuator there is a lot of wind up in the cable. Do I need to unhook it in the back?

If you are talking about the thin emergency break cable I recommend that you not mess with it. I found it to be a pita to replace. If I had to do it all over again I would just replace the entire actuator.

No the main break cable.

New actuator.

To avoid having to pre wind the brake cable I found a brake line with ends that pivot. 20170324_184507.jpg

Probably should have said brake line instead of cable.

Are Bud and Miller helping you? :D

Wouldn't bleed. Just sucked air. End up replacing the main break line with 19 ft thermoplastic beak line. Perfect length for my boat. Bleed out good.
