From my post this past week.

“Ordered a second O2 sensor. The dealer called me back and gave me two part numbers. The first one he said was obsolete which was BRP 0460374. The second one was the current part number, which was BRP 0461576. I only found one place online that sold it: http://www.crowleymarine.com/ They said it was a guaranteed fit for the Rotax 150, 200 and 250. It was $74.95. Hope this helps someone.”

Of course I put a different one on today using the part number that is floating around his forum somewhere and it worked fine.

Here’s the other part number.

“I ordered the BRP#707600872 from Amazon for $75.00 because I am in a hurry and the service department couldn't even find a part number.”

I bet Rotax does not manufacture Oxygen sensors.... hopefully once you get it you can examine it for other part numbers...there may be a bosch equivalent or some other brand once it's figured out....just a thought.

The one I took off and the one I put on were both “missing” part numbers on the sensor itself. I’ve heard that it is stamped on the side usually. Just my two cents.

I received and installed the first O2 sensor, BRP 707600872. Went on fine, looked exactly the same. The boat runs exactly as it did before and no new error codes. The only problem is that the original flashing check engine light on startup did not go away so it didn't solve my problem.

Mine has flashed since I bought it. 3 or 4 times. No codes. Runs fine. When O2 sensor went, it stayed on constant.

Have you ever taken it to the dealer to have the codes read when it’s just flashing? Mine started after I removed and re-installed the fuel sender and transducer.

There are no codes when it is flashing. It flashes 3 or 4 times at startup and it is gone. When it stayed on is the only time it showed a code.

I understand. Didn’t know if there were some hidden codes. I think I’ve seen people say that there were no codes in the menu but popped up when the dealer read them. Just curious. Thanks for the reply either way!

I checked the codes with candoo pro, same as dealer would use.

I read somewhere that it is a maintenance reset that needs to be done, by so far I haven’t found that yet.

Oh okay. That’s helpful! The dealer said they had never heard of it. Gonna be fun to explain if it’s still there when I sell it down the road.

Honestly, I tell myself it flashes a few times at startup as a test and it’s gone, just like the check engine light on a car...it makes me feel better!
