Getting tired of weather alerts

I boat in Florida and every afternoon seems my marine vhf radio sets off an alarm that a storm is in the area. Its beeps and beeps untill you click the mic. And than the storm info is given. I always think its a boat alarm and I'm sinking or something. Lol

Ray I'd rather have less thunderstorms. LOL This year has been terrible for boating this year, well June anyways maybe July will be better.

Thanks. It's a nice feature just wish when it went off it would be more relevant to your location. Seems the storm is always 50 miles away.

Yeah I live in the coast as well and had to turn it off as it just blows up every 15 minutes.
