Our group have decided to leave super early Sunday officially. We have 3 center consoles, 2 cruisers, 2 jetskis, and 1 210 jetboater. We have Epirbs, PLB's, about 8 gps's, 8 compasses, weather sonar, depth finders, Experienced divers, swimmers, mechanics, electricians, medical staff. One of our center consoles has opted to lead the am departure with their highly Bright led Bar.33k lumens I believe. We will all be ready (with the exception of one who will arrive close to 11PM,)at Bahia mar docks no later than 5pm to try and make it to the refueling station. We should be having our captains meeting at 8pm Saturday to discuss our equipment , concerns, leading vessel stradegies, vhf Chanel’s. Captains meeting will be held at the same location stated above. Small building south of the main hotel lobby. Saturday we will used to secure any last minute food or equipment needs if needed, tightly securing items and vessel checks. Roll call will be made at 5:30am Sunday morning with a launch time of 5:45am. I can be reached on facebook messenger quickly by searching Ryuc14911@yahoo.com for those wanting to join.

Lol won’t help unless I can find someone to work for me. The getting there is the easy part it’s only a 10 hour drive for me I could leave at 5am tomorrow morning towing my boat and be there in plenty of time.

Have you seen the suggestions of ordering groceries online for pickup?

The Publix near Harbour Towne is a an option. Zip code 33004.

I bet Susan can order while you drive.

My wife wants to stop at a costco because we have the kids snorkel gear but forgot ours.
I also need a ratchet strap or something for my gas cans because i am not fond of the rope currently holding them on road.
THEN we get the rest of groceries, get to harbor town, assemble bimini frame, launch, park get to bahia mar dock, get the room......
And we spend 40 minutes at sonic figuring out what the kids want.
I don't fight it, i embrace the chaos

When are you crossing? Is the family crossing with you?

Plan is to cross Saturday. Crew is me and my two teenage kids (17 and 15). Rest r taking ferry on Sunday. They weren’t able to change to Saturday as no availability.

2 questions:

-there r two crashes on I75 before Orlando, causing 1.5 delay. Any way to go around that?

-there is no curbside pickup at the dania beach publix. Anyone successful w online grocery and pick up?

No if you are near ocala or just north it's always bad for traffic regardless of wreck or not. No main roads around it. I usually open Google maps and see if it has a route around it with side roads.

@Rana created an order list and found that delivery was available but no pickup.

He’s been planning on crossing with me since the winter months. Right now he has come up huge as he will be assisting or taking my boat across with my bf on Saturday. Wouldn’t leave it with anyone else lolol and I do t let anyone captain my boat
