I am new to this forum, and first time posting. I have a question regarding possibly installing an aftermarket ladder on the swim deck. I have a friend, who is a bit heavy set and has had a knee replacement and may have difficulty with pulling up on the straps and getting back into the boat from the water. Has anyone installed an aftermarket ladder on the swim platform similar to the attached? Would this be something that could be mounted onto the swim platform of the boat?

Any help is appreciated!

I don’t think that would support a lot of weight screwed down and it would be hard to get to that area of the swim platform and use nuts, bolts and a backing plate.

Tie a rope to the tower and use that to allow them to pull themselves up? That way they are pulling more up vs pulling in with the grab handles.
I had an older "heavy set" person with me a while back and this worked for them.

Call Windline directly, they have helpful and knowledgeable folks that answer the phone, they can probably tell you which ladder bolts on the existing holes that may be longer. (I wish I had the number to give you, but I don't. I did look it up long ago when they serviced my ladder. They were quite helpful.)
