Ok so we took our new 18 212x out for the first time and it was awesome but there were a couple of thing I was wondering about if you guy
can help me out.

1. The stereo system is giving out a super annoying feedback/static noise. If you turn it off and back on again it’ll be good for a while but eventually it comes back. Any suggestions on that?

2.Those of you with ridesteady, I set the speed at 10.6 and it beeps but then you kind of have still hold it there or it seems kind of lose speed a little and it tells me to give more throttle? Shouldnt it give more throttle for me to keep speed? Maybe I’m setting it wrong or something idk.

Other than that it was everything I hoped it would be. I will most likely get some thrust vectors as well as it was a bit tough for the wife to get it on the trailer but not bad. We surfed a bit and I was actually surprised at the wave it produced with just stock ballast and the wakebooster.

I don't have Ridesteady, but understand from others you set the speed and then put the throttle to full. Sounds like you only pushed it up until it engaged. Keep going to max with it.

Ridesteady uses a "throttle reduction" method for safety reasons. It can only reduce throttle from the amount you give it.

So, you need to push the throttle levers down a little further than you normally would to maintain the particular set speed, to give your Ridesteady room to operate. You can push them all the way down if you like, but you're likely to have a pretty strong start if you do that, and it isn't required.

Your Ridesteady will warn you that it doesn't have enough throttle with the "MORE GAS" screen, indicating to push the throttle levers down a little more.
