I would have a 20% but nobody in the state of WI wants to do the curved windows for less than 1500.

Here is 5%.....not going to lie, it's dark. I'd say it does hinder vision slightly at times, but I drive on the bolster 85% of the time. I would not do it differently since the look is amazing!

I like the look of 5% but you can't see well sitting down and passenger will not see at all with center window folded over. So I went with 15%.20200822_161440.jpg

Why would the passenger need to see out when the window is folded over? When under way the window is closed

I did mine on my 232. I did 50%. I wanted just a light smoke to take the glare off but still be able to fully use the windshield. Gives a nice look and still useable. I have had 20 and 35% in the past and its dark enough where i would just end up looking over the windshield all the time. It got irritating.

I hear you but there are times when its left open due to people moving around and also letting some breeze pass on really hot days..

Agreed. We RARELY close the center window while underway.

While it looks nice, I won't tint due to visibility - need to see those idiots lying down on paddle boards or swimming in open water and channels. I only use the bolster when docking or while looking for anchor spots, sometimes standing - about 5% of the time, 95% I'm sitting.

The center window is always closed underway - I removed the upper rubber bumper on the 212s and put the stainless screw back in so nothing poking up into the mooring cover. Previous boats had much shorter bumpers and no issues, but on this boat they're much longer. Without the upper bumper the window will bounce around twisting the hinge and might cause damage, so it stays closed. And on breezy days it's closed too - a strong crosswind flipped it closed one day when rotating at idle speed and scared the shit out of us!

Just had it done in 5% I wont be out until next season so Im not sure of the visibility impact But i usually look over the windshield. Especially with all the water sports . For wakeboarding and wakesurfing the boat is not on plane allowing it to create a better wave
