I am curious if anyone carries a spice kit with their grill? If so I would love to see pictures and know where you got it.

Thanks

Tony Chachere's is all you need!

I have been thinking about this too @Bruce . I am interested to see what others are doing also.

I like that @Wayloncle !

I always season everything up before I go, lets the seasoning seep into the meat and is less mess on the boat....that way I just pull it out of the container in the cooler and throw it right on the grill....

use all sorts of spices ranging from simple garlic salt/lemon pepper, to Freddy's steakburger seasoning, to Jacks Stack rubs depending on what it is

Like @woodard1983 I season everything before taking it on the boat. My favorite seasoning is Cavender's which can be found in all my local grocery stores. The picture is off their website and the smallest quantity you can order is a 4 pack but in the stores you can purchase an individual canister.

We send spices to Hawaii vs buying there when we go. Way cheaper and we have exactly what we want vs stumbling around looking for it. I have wanted more than mustard/mayo/salt/pepper on the boat, so I will be reading here.

I could totally see how trying to go buy spices there would be a pain

The best I've ever had, all I will ever use!!!

I normally season at home. But sometimes we catch food on the boat. So I would like to include spices in the grill bag.

I saw one of these at Bass Pro Shops recently. It holds 6 spices in a single container.

I am thinking that this 3 container 6 spice package may be what I go with along with a container of olive oil.

That GSI one would be really nice. I like how it is connected, and that each one has pour holes.

I saw spray olive oil at natures market the other day. We actually have a pump atomizer for our olive oil that not only sprays it as a fine must, it measures how much your putting on if your watching your calories! Not sure how well it travels.

I'm in illinois, can't get it here either. I have it shipped here from their website. Very reasonable I usually get 6 at a time. I use it on all kinds of meat

Hmmm, I just don't know about ordering some just to try it.

So what spices do we want on the boat ?

I am thinking Salt, Pepper, Garlic, spice mix for seafood, spice mix for chick, spice mix for beef. What else should I add. What spice mixes should be used?

I saw that as well, I also just saw they are selling it a wal Mart, I did not know that. It may be available at your local " kill your town / put everyone else out of business / suck tax dollars out of your town" store...;)
