I have a general question on the Sea Dek pad that goes on the engine compartment for the step over. I want to have a pad there that will hold up better than the seat will but still be able to use the seat when needed. I wanted to know if anyone has the JetBoatPilot Sea Dek mat installed and are able to still secure the seat pad. Our new 195S is in storage right now so I can not take a look my self. I think the JBP mat is thicker (10-12mm i think)than what you find on Amazon(6-8mm), it is also nicer looking. Please let me know if you have done this and any pictures would be nice to see too.

I don't have the 195s boat, but I believe their mat has cut outs for the snaps so you can still snap the cushion in place if you wanted. You can also just lay the cushion on the mat if you have people sitting there. Best place to get the answer though is from the source - contact Will at JBP for confirmation - they're pretty good to deal with over email or phone.

I have that piece from @JetBoatPilot in my 212 and I can still snap the seat down.
It sits up a tiny bit higher than the adjacent seats now but it’s not that big of a deal. Well worth it, we usually just leave that seat out now anyway.

I have the pad but no boat yet to try it on. Not planning on using that seat very often if at all.
