I know this has been talked about in the past and I have read all of this, but I would just like confirmation before I mess up my brand new boat with 2 hours on it.

I am not a fan of the rear decal on my AR250. If I use a heat gun and plastic scraper I can pull the decal and not damage the paint correct? Talking about the light blue at the back. Just make me feel better about taking a heat gun and puddy knife to my boat.

You won’t even need a scrapper. Just a little heat and start at a corner with your finger nail and it will come right off. While you’re at it remove the 60 billion warning stickers they love to plaster over these boats.

You probably will not have to use a heat gun. I didn't and I waited 2 years to remove mine. Which I did at the lake floating , and drinking a beer.

Yup the adhesive is not very aggressive. I removed all of my warning stickers without heat.

I used a heat gun and little bit of acetone on " jump of boat and you die" stickers. Most came right off but a few need some acetone. And I agree with you, beautiful boat but the decal not so much.

I also removed that sticker in the rear of mine. Real easy to come off, used the wife's blow drier ( without her knowing) to warm it up a bit and then picked at the corner and it came off in one piece. Went around and removed all the other warning stickers I could find. The smaller stickers I used Goo gone and the adhesive came off right away with some rags, on the larger ones it took some work to get all the adhesive off that was left behind. No damage to the paint at all.

Just removed the old registration stickers on a jet ski. A little warm air and they came right off then I used “Rapid Remover” https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08PVYQLZL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title and I have never seen anything like it. It worked great and left zero residue. Bragged to my wife and she had a couple of places where she had dried glue (set up for a couple of years) sprayed this stuff on, waited 30 seconds, wiped it off. Perfect.

buy as small a container as you can find. I may have used one ounce on all of these jobs.

Looks good. I was also on the fence about removing mine on the front but after removing the rear one it doesn't look as busy. Plus it doesn't have AR250 anywhere else so I decided to keep it.
The only problem you might run into is the location for your reg #'s. That is where they usually go on our boats. Instead, I put mine on the white part of the hull below the windshield. I placed them temporarily in different locations trying to get a feel for it and like the looks of where I decided to put mine.

That's odd that they'd put the model up there in "registration number land."

And I'm thinking mine need to come off this year. hairdryer and a little goo gone....I'm not liking that bright yellow on it anymore.

I vote front AR sticker removal too. That hull colour pops on its own.
