I can't verify this claim, but I just saw a post on a Yamaha FB group, a guy states that yesterday Yamaha canceled all remaining 2021 pre-orders and is also not taking anymore deposits on 2022's.

For a minute I thought “no more 21 footers?!” and was like “22? there is no 22’”. Who knows, that could be true too soon enough bigger is better these days.

What I am hoping for is a 2023 22' FSH with Twin 1.8's. :)

It's true, I got the call two days ago and my deposit was refunded.

I said months ago that Yamaha should just skip 2022 model year finish the 2021s in the yard then switch to 2023 when the supply chain has normalized.

That would take brains though

Deposits for new boats are handled between buyer and dealer; Yamaha corporate is not a party to that agreement. Therefore, I don't see how that second part about not taking any more deposits on 2022s can be true.

There is so much BS on facebook and floating around the internet it is absurd. People just make crap up.
