Morning all!

Been lurking since the summer. Picked up a slightly used '21 195s in the fall. It's just the wife and I, so this is plenty of boat. We have a low hour '02 fx140 that we were going to sell to help pay for the boat. I have since decided to keep that also.

Its winter here, so she has been put away. We're just looking to pick up some additional things over the winter. Need to get a second anchor. Another tube for floating. Also need a smaller bag for my phone, wallet keys etc. My wife usually throws them in the towel bag but I can foresee that being a disaster in the making.

Welcome Aboard from another MD'er! (now transplanted)

Get a big dry bag and it will probably come with a mini-bag for the phone.

Welcome to the forum and boating! Bummer you got it in the winter season, but let’s hope you get a early Spring and can take here out! You are going to love it! We do and so happy my wife is enjoying it as much as I am. Wasn’t sure she was going to take to like I knew I would. I think all the wind blocking I’ve done has made it better for her. For me, I don’t mind the cold so much! Have you posted any picture at all?

We got to use it before putting it away for the winter season. I'll try and find a good pic, later.

:Welcome:
Where are you planning to boat with it? Consider a box anchor, especially if you're going to boat in the silty bottomed waters out near the beach. (The anchor we got with our boat was practically useless.)

This was our rushed maiden voyage. Didnt put all the equipment away

Good Looking boat, those nice clean and bright white anchor and fender lines remind me that I forgot to stow my 2nd anchors new line, left it in almost the same spot last Sunday after wash down.

What body of water is this?

What is APG?

Got it: Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

:Welcome::thumbsup:[flag] Congratulations and welcome to the best jet boat forum in the world! I have a 2021 212SE and it's only the wife and I as well. It makes us feel like we have a yacht!

We have the same boat, definitely a great color combination. We moved from Northern VA to Atlanta last fall. Look forward to putting in (Lake Lanier) for the first time soon.
Was originally looking for an sx195. My wife wanted the second captains chair, even though she has yet to sit in it. Grrr.

A barely used 195s became available, somewhat local. Went on a multiple hour long sea trial. The rest is history. I bought it without my wife even seeing it person. She cried the day I brought it home.

The port side captain's chair was a must for us. We picked ours up in MI. @HangOutdoors helped us by doing the pre delivery inspection. Up one day back the next.

Welcome! I am in Southern MD Mechanicsville. Boat the Bay, Patuxent River and Potomac River so many choices.

:Welcome: from another local. We lived in Maryland for 30 years until last summer.

Congrats on the new 195S, its a terrific boat, chock full of upgrades. We are considering an AR190/195 and would do our own upgrade of installing a second captains chair.

Nice! I’ve spent the last three summers there. Flying Point park and Wilson park are both good launch sites. I kept my boat stored on APG South’s Marina but I didn’t like the ramp there.
