Hello everyone
I have a 2017 scarab 195 vortex rotax. I found this fault code P1036. It has 73 hours and boat is running great. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Did you mean P0136? If the code is P0136, I replaced the post-catalyst oxygen sensor and that code went away. The link below shows you a socket that you can use and provides a link to information on a relatively inexpensive oxygen sensor.

It does appear that there is a P1036 fault code, and one of the potential causes is a defective O2 sensor.

Thank you so much, I am going to replace the post-catalyst sensor. Do you think I should better buy the OEM or the aftermarket one?.
Thank you again.

Most likely, your catalyst is failing.... but this can be removed.

The MotoMarine Rotax Catalyst Delete kit is out. This is done without any modification to your ECU or Wire Harness.

We have developed our own exhaust race plate, which allows you to relocate the O2 sensors onto the exhaust manifold without modification or drilling.

Comes with a PWC style waterbox and all of the parts you need to make it work. There are only 2 things you need to work out, as every boat is different. We can guide you with both of these.

1- The cooling line connections. We can give you a diagram of what needs to be done, and you may need to order additional hose and T Fittings in order to make it work.

2- The exhaust varies by boat to boat... so you may need to modify your existing hose in order to make it fit properly.

We've successfully deleted the Catalyst on Scarab, Chapparral, Williams Tender, Seadoo Switch.
