    Sharks

They will usually stay away, you only run a risk when spearfishing since you are killing fish and keeping them near you, and even then if you stand your ground they will swim away, unless is bull shark.

    FSH loosing speed and power

The fishing line is the culprit, I run into this all the time and the result is always speed reduced. Since it's not clogging the impeller, it won't overdrive, but will put a load and not let you get speed.

    Floating Mats

You have to call the store or go to the store to place the order to ship to store to get it at the price of $399. They will not ship to home and you can't place online order. I paid for my order yesterday and should arrive next week.

One picture of your last outing.

Marinas are finally open in South Florida, was able to go out with the kids on Friday before the bad weather started. Kids caught a barracuda from the mangroves. Look at the size of the saltwater crock!

Drain Plug LED Light, has anyone installed on Yamaha boat?

See this threat on an FSH, don't think it should be that different on a 242 https://jetboaters.net/threads/drain-plug-led-diablo-royal.7833/

    Trouble re-fueling.

I have a 190 FSH and never had a problem filling up the tank. Check the vent next to the gas lid, it should be venting fumes as you fill up, if not, it's most likely clogged

    Help-advice-rough start ‘16 190 FSH

This is not a broken chain, an engine cannot run without the timing chain. Broken spark plugs are usually a result of severe engine detonation or a very lean mixture that may result in piston damage.

2019 Yamaha single engine best options

Cobra or TV's, no matter which way you go, it is the first upgrade you must do on a Jetboat, even a single engine. Before you buy seadeck, a GPS or upgrade your radio, you will not regret it. I had my 190 FSH for a full year without them, and after I put the TV's was one of the best upgrades.

2019 Yamaha single engine best options

TVs will make a great difference on your slow speed maneuvering. Before them I was the only one that could drive the boat at slow speeds in a channel, after TVs, I can have my wife and my small son steer while I'm doing something else on the boat. You will not regret them, and the TVs from...

    In hull transducer location

This is how I did mine more the 3 years ago and has work without any problems, the only times I loose depth reading is when I come to stop and go in reverse. https://jetboaters.net/threads/installing-a-lowarence-elite-5-on-a-fsh.7785/#post-134827

Would you buy an FSH again??

3.5 years, 150 hours, and Yes, would buy one again. Never had an issue with it other then the stock radio going bad. Small enough to fit in my garage, big enough for a family of 5, to go to the sandbar and fishing with the kids.

Florida Keys - Marathon - Christmas - Advice Wanted

@Peter simon If you are going to be snorkeling in state sanctuary reservation areas, you need to tie up to mooring buoys, see the following site with more info https://floridakeys.noaa.gov/zones/spas/welcome.html You should only anchor in a sandy bottom if buoys are not avaliable. installing a Lowarence Elite 5 on a FSH

@Bernd you are right about 5200!, I had to replace the unit under warranty and it was not easy to remove. I learned that applying Acetone and letting it sit for a few minutes and cutting it with a razor blade works, but still a pain. I upgraded the unit to a hook 7.

What is the "real" top speed for a 190 FSH Sport? Apples to apples...

GPS speed is more accurate then any speedometer in a boat or a vehicle.

SeaDek on the FSH and Fishing

@Paxton Corwin I've had mine on for over a year of saltwater fishing on it, over 100 hours on it, spilling fish guts and blood, kids at the sand bar on and off and never had any issues. It cleans off easy and have no stains. The process of installation has a lot to do on how long they are...
