    Its only price gouging if you are willing to buy. I see a boat as a non necessity item. People are paying way over blue book for trucks and cars, I get it if you really need a car but why, the market will change and prices will drop back to normal.

    I have a Minkota dual bank charger. I leave the boat plugged in all the time, on the lake and when its in storage. Batteries are 7 yrs old but get really low use on them.

    A little bit off of the main topic. I've read of replacing the original clamps with stainless steel. I think the main clamps are the clean out ports. Any other clamps I should replace? My boat is fresh water.

    I would have to agree on the Yamaha prices being high and making their market niche less. I bought my AR240 new in 2014 for around $42K, now that same boat is about $62K. My wages haven't gone up that much in 8 years compared to the increase in boat prices. Yamaha boats were reasonable 8 years...

    Anyone have difficulty finding premium gas while on the water?

    I run 87 with ethanol but this year I'll prob fill the boat with non ethanol when I store it for the winter. I haven't had a chance to use the boat much so I'm finally down to have a tank this year. I'll burn it lower and then use non ethanol gas from now on. On on small lake there is prob one...
