How often do you wash your boat?

Really depends on salt vs fresh water use.... the upkeep with salt water is so much more than fresh water.... I wash my boat down every use to get the salt off

    Two Engines Versus One

I believe the boats handle better with two engines... less likely to fish tail and with the heavier weight handle better in rough water. Keep in mind that two engines do use more fuel than a single as well... I have a single engine 19ft Yamaha and it had been ideal for what we wanted to do with...

If you can find a good PWC mechanic to look at it, that'd be a good option...it's basically a Waverunner engine

How do you clean the fabric part of your Yamaha jetboat seats?

Mr clean magic erasers are useful, but they are an abrasive and work like a super fine sandpaper... I wouldn't go crazy with them unless needed. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melamine_foam

Tips for drilling through fiberglass and gelcoat?

I just went through the same thing, thought the Polk speakers would be a super quick replacement, they weren't... ended up drilling new holes.. just make sure your use the right side bit, too small you'll crack and screw won't go in. Also, on mine, the terminals were different sizes, you'll...

    Panama City Beach (Shell island)

I'd recommend paying and putting in at St. Andrews state park, it's easy and saves you having to trek through the no-wake zones using some of the ramps further back on Grand Lagoon. Shell island is our usual Hangout, you'll find lots of boats parked and anchored along the bay side and if the...

    10 Hour Service on AR190

I know some of the models have a tube that holds more grease , my 2015 sx190 had the week fitting right on the housing and therefore takes less grease. I can't remember where I found out the amount, probably on here somewhere. I bought a grease gun and did the correct number if pumps

I bought my 2015 sx190 from a dealer that delivered it with a galvanized trailer and was even test drove in salt water.... would it be safe to assume the anide on the side of the pump is zinc? Is there a visual way to tell the type of anode?

    Second boat first...

take out less people and enjoy the boat you have... you'd take a big loss trying to trade it for a bigger boat... keep it a few years and then go for a big 24' if you are still using it frequently... lots of people get a boat and take it out all the time, then the newness of it wears off and it...
