    It's over...

I'm keeping mine on my lift over the winter, so I guess the season never really ends for me? If we hit 60 in December, i'll take it out for a spin.

    Completed 2016 SeaDek Group Buy

Awesome, going to take a long look at the carpet this weekend and decide if we do it all now or wait a year for the carpet to REALLY stink.

With the minimum units now hit, does the 30% discount extend to those just wanting to buy the engine bay and/or engine step overs?

    Boat Lift Questions

I don't even use dock lines with my lift, but I guess I probably would over the winter. Are those lights for illumination only or do they help with birds? We've got a ton of barn swallows that crap about 1000 times a week on my cover.

For the 2015 242 LS, the swim platform stock color is Chocolate over black, which of the style options matches the stock swim platform? I see 3, brushed, brushed with border, and faux teak.

    15 242 trashcan

Is the space next to the passenger seat with the net hooks for a trashcan? Been trying to figure out how to use that net for there, always so loose, this would make sense. I just have mine on the floor of my head right now, no issues with my beer, er pop, cans blowing out.

New JetBoatPilot Console Organizer For 24 Footers Need Feedback!

+1 on a trash can idea in the head compartment. I just have mine on the floor in the head. Not interested in the console organizer.

To Lift Or Not To Lift

Pretty sure the Amish guys make custom covers around my lake out of canvas for less than the premium deluxe I just bought. Once that dies (hopefully never), I would get a custom full boat/tower cover made.

To Lift Or Not To Lift

Its a nice cover, in fact you have to put the tower down to get it full up into the rafters.

To Lift Or Not To Lift

Wet slip was my only option, its coming out regardless, just curious about lift storage. Sounds like storing it on a covered lift is a valid option, appreciate the replies.

To Lift Or Not To Lift

Currently have my boat in a wet slip and eager to get it up a lift. Ive been presented with the opportunity to get a covered lift now instead of next season. Will cost me 400 more for this season (1800 for the season). In central Ohio, we're late September for getting into the water, maybe...

CARB vs. Non-CARB Side by Side Test

I just haven't had a good chance to do it, i will make time this weekend. Wouldnt it be odd that both engines max out at almost exactly 7k?

CARB vs. Non-CARB Side by Side Test

I too unknowingly bought a CARB model. I realized this as I was investigating why I couldn't hit even the mid 40s when on the boat alone. Long story short, i think my speed issues are related to: wet slipped boat is always dirty, 1300 ft elevation, always hot and humid as F this season...

    Reverse???

That was a pretty good nearly 180 in that slip.

    Reverse???

I actually prefer to come in with a little speed, that helps it track pretty straight. And then just nail reverse and turn the wheel opposite to the side of the dock you want to kiss at the last 5 feet. Be sure to let your passengers know the procedure about to occur.

    Reverse???

It was windy on Sunday and this one bar has about 30 slips, most are doubles with no dock between. Every down wind dock was occupied and over a few hours, we watched dozens of boats come in, try to get that near spot, fail once or twice and leave. Luckily I got a single shooter earlier.

    Reverse???

I back into my slip everytime because its easier to put the cover on. After 1/2 a season, I'm better but still suck. My marina is tight too, so i have to come in perpendicular, then i spin 90 degrees, go a little past if the wind is blowing in, or stop short for the opposite. Try to get the...

    Top Speed Issues

Unfortunately, 500 feet above sea level is as low as i can find in ohio. And thats the nasty ohio river.
