    Thanks for the responses. The instructions say after cover is on to ratchet strap it 4-5 times. It's so tight I can't ratchet it at all. Hopefully it stretches out over time. Makes me long for the shipping cover again. That was a breeze and you could sock it up tight with the ratchet.

    It’s the black one. Should be the same. I didn’t see any additional slack in the side straps either. 2 on each side. If I undo those to get the stern on then there’s no way I can reconnect the straps. I’m perplexed.

    I got 3 years out of the shipping cover for winter storage which seemed OK for free. I just picked up a Yamaha Deluxe Premium OEM mooring cover MAR-242NT-BK-15. Appears this is the latest model for the SX240 because it has the cutouts for the bimini top unlike the one I thought I was ordering...

    Yes, great info. Thanks for sharing. This is already my 4th summer with the boat. Do my own maintenance and haven’t had to go back to the dealer yet. Other than this issue, love the boat.

    It's doing whatever will be covered by warranty :). Seriously though, there isn't any peeling from the outside of the screen if that's what's meant by delamination. It all appears behind the glass.

    I used Marine Spray 9, Heavy-Duty cleaner/degreaser. Says it contains chloride, may be similar to chlorine, not sure.

    Received the Spray 9 Sunday. Tried it on a seat with soft bristle brush I had, amazing results. Can't believe my seats are white again. Now even a couple stain areas I had previously used a magic eraser on are not noticeable. Tried the drill brush attachment later, easy to use, even whiter now...

    Was just starting a thread on this issue. Suggested threads popped up, clicked on this one. BAM. Questions answered. Same issue with textured area of seats never looking white. Ordered the drill brush and Spray 9. Hoping for the best :-)

    Had to have the head with toilet for wife. Sure helps extend our day at the party cove. The Dometic toilet was a freebie by the dealer at boat purchase and installed by the dealer.

    I had the same Bimini issue. Disconnect the pole that screws into the windshield bracket from the bimini pole. Screw in the pole you disconnected then reattach the Bimini pole. Much easier.

    Water warmer than air common this time of year in New England. Pics taken a 1/2 hour apart this AM. Also a bit of a drought in the north east this summer so I've had to move my lift several times. Can't go any further and still get in boat from dock.

    We came off the lake the other night due to thunderstorms. Didn't put covers on boat. Just left it on the lift. Rained hard over night. Never had a self bailing boat before and was amazed the next morning to find no water in ski locker or bilge. Had batteries off also. Love it.
