Anyone added any new mods during the offseason or got their boat wet this year? Hoping to dunk ours in a week or two and we can’t wait to get back on the water! Anyone on Smith Lake in Alabama.....All wake boats banned?!?!?
Compared to storms I don’t think they do near as much damage. Our lake is massive and has vast open areas. When storms or just wind blow 10 mph the lake is extremely rough and white capping. The constant barrage of those waves is much more than the 3 to 4 wave sets from a boat passing by...- haknslash

While we are at it ban tubing too. I’d say it creates a ton more wave action for the entire lake than surfing does. Also ban any boat larger than 19’ because anyone can ride off plane and create a wake to disrupt docks and shorelines. Ban fishing hats because they drive way too fast and cut on...- haknslash

No they’re not banned. That is just some stupid fake joke video the guy is posting for traffic. He has done other viral videos in the past. They did pass IIRC a 200’ shoreline law on smith lake that goes into effect next season for wake boats. The law is local to smith lake and a few other...- haknslash

BILGE BREAKDOWN - ACCESS HATCH UPGRADE - MUST SEE VIDEO
Add a check valve to the tray drain hose next time you’re in there. Would resolve a lot of the water entering from the tray area to begin. Nice job in the seal.- haknslash

Official/Unofficial JB What's For Dinner Thread
Made some killer smash burgers with pepper jack cheese and grilled onions. For side dish we made some new jalapeño and bacon popper cups. So delicious! Washing it down with a top shelf Cadillac margarita :)- haknslash

Finally put some racks on the boat after all these years without them lol. Might splurge and get the swivels later on but this will at least get the board out of my storage. I don’t use the Bimini surf pockets anymore since I was getting some dents in my EPS boards.- haknslash

The first time you fill without dialing in your ballast timers it’s expected to get some air. Once you purge the air and adjust your fill times you shouldn’t have trapped air.
