So I finally bought a Glastron GTS..
Thank you for the compliment, its a stellar machine. As far ad the GPS/chartplotter I have purchased a flexible mount from RAM Mounts and a GPS from Lowrance. So I finally bought a Glastron GTS..
After a lot of back and forth (years) I finally pulled the trigger last September and ordered a 2021 Glastron GTS205 in denim blue. Although, I really love the jets, ultimately, boating in the Peconic area of Long Island this made better sense to me... That explains why I have not been on this...- Tempest

Scarab Quality
Thank you for the reply. It may have been your post pertaining to the staples that I had come across, as I've read about that. I believe the new 2020 Yamaha boats have better low speed manueverability. The checking of bolts, etc.. I am not averse to as that is part of ownership and ensuring...- Tempest

Probably in the minority and don’t mean any offense but, I don’t think I’m digging the colors. The 2020 AR195S was gorgeous but these feel a little as though the scheme was just plastered across the boat’s sides.- Tempest

Sharks
The only time I have ever encountered a shark was when purposely fishing for them. Mako Blue shark Thresher and Hammerhead. I am very sorry to be reading this and am very sympathetic. If at some point salvaging your boating season takes precedence then, I would consider accepting your boat back with the new engine etc... and try to get as much out of them as possible. I don't think there are any boats at any...- Tempest

The boat is being sold for $49K , definitely caught my attention but, also had me concerned for the very same reason, -

Love the Scarabs but, can definitely see the appeal of the Yamahas. Beautiful brand new AR195 for $38,600. Promised my kid a boat so I have some hard decisions to make this upcoming week... ive been searching for days but everything is so expensive.
