    GPS/Fish Finder Mount FSH 190

I have a Garmin 741xs in dash with an Airmar P79 in hull transducer. It works great at slow speed or stopped. A little bubbly at speed.

Would you buy an FSH again??

We’ve had our 190FSH almost three years and only 34 hours. I installed a Garmin 742xs in dash first thing. Love the boat but thinking about trading down to a WaveRunner FX Cruiser HO to set up for fishing and play. The boat is hogging our carport. A WaveRunner would free up a lot of room here.

Flushing engine on Yamaha 242 Limited S E series using in Saltwater

I use Dawn dish soap in mine for flushing. I also run the engine long enough to feel warm water exiting the side discharge. My thoughts are, if it doesn't run long enough to open the thermostat, it's not flushing the engine entirely. Or am I wrong there?

    Launch problem

The keel guard I'm referring to is a nylon block bolted to the cross member on the trailer. I don't have a keel guard on the boat. It doesn't look like there should be a clearance issue with the boat sitting on the trailer but when the boat floats off of the bunks, the bow dips down pretty low...

    Launch problem

I've been backing in a little deeper. Just enough to get the truck's rear tires in the water seems to give enough depth to reverse power the boat off the trailer. The boat is off the bunks but the keel sits on the keel guard on the trailer's cross member. A little bit deeper helps it slide off...

    Gasparilla 2018

Hillsborough County Sheriff says fending off other boats while others fend off yours is the biggest challenge. I've been in Clearwater Pass on a busy weekend that was bad enough with the turbulent water making boats waller around. Y'all stay safe and have a blast!

    What GPS works best

I know very little about different brands or details but I've been very happy with the map graphics and operation of my Garmin 741xs I installed in the dash of my 190FSH. I'm using a Airmar P71 in hull transducer. Seems to work well but I mistakenly installed it right behind the live well intake...

    AR195 Hurricane Prep

Other than glass and plastic from a sign blown out and a bunch of leaves and sticks, my boat made it through ok. I took the cover and windshield off so the wind would rip them off. Now for the cleanup and hoping power comes back on soon.

    AR195 Hurricane Prep

I have the canvas off of the T-top on my 190FSH and the mooring cover on. I'm in the same boat. Don't know what's best. I'm going to hitch it to my truck tomorrow to help hold it steady since it's kind of sitting there on three wheels. When I was a teenager, my dad filled our 17' SeaRay with...

    2018 190 FSH Redesign

This too shall pass. We took the FSH out Clearwater Pass in 2-3ft seas Wednesday. Didn't catch any keepers but had a delicious Cuban sandwich. Then rode up to Anclote Key just for the ride. Good to see you back CT.

    unrealistic brand loyalty

Aside from not receiving the boat we agreed on when I bought our boat, the boat itself has been great and we've enjoyed it for over a year now. I'll reseal the minor leaks when the weather gets a little cooler. I'd like to get some stainless scupper drains anyhow. My only complaint is that it's...

    2018 190 FSH Redesign

If it had two 1.8L HO engines, I might be more enthusiastic about it. I sure like the 21' overall though.

    2016 FSH 190 Sport Re-Sale/Trade-In Value...

Being so touchy and defensive really is self destructive. Especially for someone who seems to have so much going for him with so much to offer. I didn't realize just how touchy until I got barked at for suggesting I don't like fishing offshore in rough water. I wish him well. The Tidewater is a...

    FSH Transducer mounting option

I opted for the Airmar P79 in hull for Garmin 741sx. Works ok but I unknowingly installed it right behind the live well intake. It gets a little interference at speed but works well otherwise. I use the map while up to speed anyhow so for me, no problem.

    2016 FSH 190 Sport Re-Sale/Trade-In Value...

Didn't say it was dangerous. I just agreed that I don't want to be out there bobbing around for hours. I've been out in 3-4ft seas. I didn't enjoy it at all. Just a personal preference.
