The 90 hp pump set up is differnt than yours. On your Suzuki set up I have read else where that some have lifted the engine out to change the gear oil. Engine removal is fairly easy. I would pressure check your drive as its probably been a while since the shaft seals were replaced. You can...

If you have the three cylinder 90 hp there is a grease zert inside the steering nozzel. There is no lubrication to the impellor driveshaft at this end other than the grease. The front is lubricated with the pump oil. Not sure if you have the Suzuki set up.

I sold my Jetstar this spring after a complete restoration of the engine and pump. The boat was perfect on the outside. It sold for $3800 so buyers will pay for nice ones. I had it for three years and it performed great. My drains were underneath but I believe yours are in the engine bay...

That would be the Suzuki Jet pump then. The two pumps are totally different and not interchangeable. Any Jetstar that is not a three cylinder 90 hp will have the same parts as yours. The pump should have lower unit oil in it. Check it for water. The shaft seals rot out and allow water into...

Finding a scoop will be tough. Is it a Suzuki or the 90 force ? Different pump set ups. A lot more Suzuki's than Force out there. Look on Ebay. The latches should be easy to find. They are probably made by Perko. Measure the size and you can probably find it on Ebay again.

    Ultranautics Jetstar - Starting problems

You can clean the tank without pulling by using alcohol and a fuel pump. Drain any remanining fuel by putting a fuel pump on a fuel line coming off the tank into a fuel can. Get at least one gallon of stove alcohol and put it in the tank and let it sit for a couple of hours. Run the alcohol...

    Ultranautics Jetstar - Starting problems

My Jetstar had the 90 HP Mercury so my engine manual won't be of any help. I would contact American Jetboard American Jetboard They seem to be stocking some Suzuki parts and maybe able to direct you to a engine manual.

How much HP do you have there ? It will be interesting to see how the HP matches your gear set up in the pump.

Also with the higher horse power they added this ride plate to improve bow rise and reduce porpoising.

@Jetstar 1982 What year is your jetstar? It will either have a Susuki motor or a Merc/Force 3 Cylinder 90 HP. If it is the latter there is no wear ring. Also the pumps are predecessors to the merc Sport jet Pump. Your shaft is probably threaded which means finding a replacement impellor is...

    Ultranautics Jetstar - Starting problems

Dirty fuel tanks and lines are usually the fuel starvation problem. Some ideas that help. Add a small fuel pump by the gas tank wired to the key switch. Drain your fuel via the fuel pump or siphon it out. Add two gallons of denatured alcohol from a hardware store to the tank and let it sit...

What kind of shape is the pump in and what year is the boat? I had a heck of a time tracking down parts. I ended up measuring everything and once I realized it was all metric I was able to find most of the seals and bearings.
