I have read several 10 hour service posts, but I don't see my specific questions answered.

I want to go to AutoZone or some similar store and get the parts I need if possible.

Questions
1. what specific oil is needed (I saw 10W40, but is there a specific kind or type that is better or needed)?
2. what is the size or type of oil filter used on the 1.8 L engine?
3. what type, kind or size are the spark plugs?
4. For the grease gun; what type or kind of grease should I use

THANKS!

Thanks guys I order the kit.

What about spark plugs and the lube for the grease gun?

Spark plugs for the 190 are: NGK - LFR6A
Gap: mm - 0.8-0.9, inches - 0.031-0.035

@Eric Ballard What they said!
And if you are like me and ever wonder about spark plugs' part number for the 1.8l - they print it out on the sticker in the engine bay.

my 10 hour check is done!

1 lesson learned - when you put the spark splugs back in and the rubber insert thing back on.... make sure you give the rubber insert thing a twist or the spark plug wont spark and youll have an ungly sounding engine and no performance. i got on tje lake after and was fine at first then the rpms would fluctuate and even at 6000 rpms i was only going 10 mph.

i took her back to the dock and pulled all the plugs and checked them and then reseated everything really carefully. all was good after that.

live and learn!

also i siphoned only 3 liters of oil out. i guess the last liter is in the filter and throughout the engine. is this normal?

thanks team!

side note - anyone know what the rubber thing is called that goes over/on top of the spark plugs.... :)

Rubber thing = the 'boot'. On ours the boot is one unit with the coil pack (on top).
