14 212x- Zup Board and my board Racks...” need input”

So will it fit in the factory racks? About to order a Zup board for my kids, I think I saw somewhere it won’t fit? If it doesn’t fit how did you Zup owners mount? New board rack? Home made DIY?

I do not think it will fit. I remember reading something about it.
I have a 2014 212X. One is a wake board rack and my surf board barley fits. I can make it fit lol
Do you have the knee board rack as well? You might be able to modify it to make it smaller to allow the board to fit.

The ZUP 2.0 fits in the lower slot on my 242X.

Do you have a wake board and wake surf combo? (one smaller slot and on slightly bigger slot)
I do not think that was a stock option on the 2014 212x.

It must be a Combo rack. The upper slot is thinner than the lower slot by a good inch or more.

So looks like I’ll need a good aftermarket rack, wonder if there is a way I can modify it to fit in the factory location, where the factory rack is.

Check out this recent thread and look for the post by white2kstang.

He used a Reborn rack to hold his Zup board. Looks like a great fit.

I wanted to try the reborn to help me be able to tie up and still be able to have the Zup out if the way. It fits in my surf board/wakeboard Monster combo rack as well.

my 2014 212x doesn’t have the forward swept tower, looks like Yamaha “ Monster” makes a swivel rack that bolts into the factory slot, I just got to see if they have a combo rack. I would assume they do, just tracking down the part number is going to suck lol
