[QUOTE="mattscheuerlein, post: 684291, member: 49838"Yes you'll have to chase a few rattles from areas that weren't tight coming off the assembly line but I only had a few.
[/QUOTE]

Any tips on dealing with the rattles? I just did the sub install in the same location and it seems to be rattling a bit. I’ve got some dynamat type material I may add in a few places like the drink holder nook inserts. The dash seems to be making a bit of noise too.

Not really. You just gotta listen and tighten. My newest rattle is in the dash area too in the windshield. Gotta get in there next time and have the wife help hold the screw head while I tighten the nuts below. Big difference in a fuller sound though right?

I’m curious if anyone has install a free air 10” sub down and to the left of the throttle. Almost the same location as the added 6.5” in the above post and link.

That location i posted there to the left of the throttle was a 7.7 and you definitely will have depth clearance, we'll with jl line but you need to look back there at the throttle cables to make sure they are not gonna interfere. If you Wiggle into the forward storage you can see back there. Cables sweep forward and then downward under the floor. You see what I mean.
