I am attempting to put a older mercury in my Sea Rayder. I have to weld a different spline onto my input. But that seems doable. My only issue is where to put the exhaust? My power heads exhaust exits straight down. Would just simply milling a hole in the aluminum top plate suffice or should I try and space up my engine and build a manifold to utilize the stock exhaust exit?
