I need help with a Tango sugar sand jet boat. it will not start. there is a ticking sound from the solonoid next to the starter.

Did you check battery switch? Mine does the same thing, I mess with the battery a bit and it will catch and start.
 
Go to your starter solenoid. You'll see two "posts" coming out of it (they may have rubber caps on them). With your key in the ACC position, jump those two posts with wire (or screwdriver if unavailable). If it fires off the starter right away, then your solenoid is bad. Pretty easy fix.
