I shot the attached photo while idling at the dock. Is it normal for water to only come out of 2 of the 3 wholes? It's kina hard to check if water comes out of all 3 while driving. I'm not getting any overheat warnings.

Thanks,
Tom

Third is bilge pump discharge. It is good that water is not coming out of there.

I believe the black round one is the bilge pump. The white one I believe is the live well drain. I'll check on those Friday night to confirm. It's the forward one(on the right) that I'm asking about. I've updated the picture.

Ok - I read the thread. I have a 2021 195 Sport. That's a single engine, SVHO.

That link was a big help.

It sounds like that stream is for the super charger. I will check again for kinked hoses.

My photo is when the boat is in the slip idling. One of the comments on the link above mentions that it takes a while for water to come out and that it requires a bit of water pressure.Should water only come out of there at when the boat is moving say 20mph ish? For engine cooling water should be flowing all the time. Should water be flowing all the time to cool the super charger or is the super charger only cooled as needed?

I've never owned a super charger before

Thanks,

Tom

Had the boat out tonight. I the host from the link from above. It had a little kink in it. But I really didn't think it would be a show stopper. I unkinked it as much as possible and sure enough I get water from all 3 outlets. Alls well that ends well.

2 notes:

1) The boat was preped out on Long Island and they didn't notice that water was only coming out of 2 out of 3 holes.
2) The boat just went in for a 10 hours service to another Yamaha dealership and they didn't notice that water was only coming out of 2 out of 3 holes.

Thanks all,

Tom
