2006 Yamaha AR230 HO jet boat. 2nd owner purchased two seasons ago with 393 hrs. I haven’t had it checked but I would assume no more then 430-440hrs currently. I have more pictures I can share.

I know this is a yamaha.. and I know they last a long time and this appears to be taken care of. Realistically, how long are these motors going to go before some money has to be dumped into them? I am... honestly asking for a friend.

I have a 2006 SX230HO with 994 hours on the engines. At the 10yr, 700 hour mark I had to replace an impeller bearing, so I had all 4 replaced (X2 engines) The mechanic told me he sees the MR-1's coming in for rebuilds around the 2500 hr mark! And those are on rental Yamaha Waverunners that have the same engine. If their rental ski's, I imagine that thrashed around hard too! He never saw a boat with 700 hours. All I do is oil/filter changes every year and plug changes about every 3 years. The engines are bulletproof IMO.
