You buy it that way or discover after purchase? Hopefully, you bought it that way and got a great deal on the boat.
Is the hole from rotating assembly damage or corrosion? If corrosion and on the outside of the block, I would try JB weld or the like. Best of luck.

The Yamaha waverunner fx models from 2002 to 2008 or 2009 use the same engines (Ho and non-ho) as your boat, maybe you can find a used one with sound engine.
