I drove the family 8 hours to get mine. Didn't think a thing about it.

Hell... fly out and buy a truck to pull that boat home!!! lol I would take the 230 over the 210. Like others have said.....you will wish you had gone bigger after you buy and enjoy it.

I drove 12 hours from S. Florida to Va Beach tested in 32 degree weather and drove home with it. I had a good deal and didn't want a saltwater boat used and abused in S. Florida. I would consider a drive as well for a good deal and good boat.

Despite all the suggestions we ended up with the AR210.
It's definitely going to take some getting used to. Kinda dread loading on the trailer the first time. I'm sure once I do it once I'll be fine but that first run is going to be nerve wracking.

You will do fine, think of tow motor steering from the rear.... you are pushing the back end where you want to go.

Despite some of the comments here, I think you'll be happy with the AR210. We have had an SX210 for two years and have loved it. Very roomy, plenty powerful for any use we've come up with, and 100% reliable. Congrats!

Congrats on the new boat @seed_81. You might consider going out on a week day to a ramp not crowded on your first launch. That way you can take a little more time without being rushed by vacationers. Practice maneuvering your boat at slow speeds. I practiced pulling up to an empty mooring ball to get the feel. Have fun.

Good choice...Add some fins and you'll be a pro in no time. It helps to have 2 people, one to drive the truck, the other to drive on to the trailer. We added veve guides to the trailer and never have a problem centering.

All prize money was spent on the boat or reserved for boat toys.

They had a 240 on a trailer there and to be honest I was a bit intimidated just looking at it. They're huge!

When i was a kid dad used to pack 8-9 on a 19.5ft bayliner. Comparing childhood memories with Yamaha's layout, I feel like I have more room than I'll ever need. lol

Took it out yesterday and spent some time in the coves at slow speeds getting used to it..... landed boat first try (No Wind). Not as bad as I thought it would be.
