Need confirmation and/or clarification.

I need to buy the steering cables, using my improved search skills, I found parts numbers SEASTAR-SSC21917 and the OEM part numbers F0R-U1470-00-00.
Are both sides (starboard and port) cables the same length of 17 feet? I question it because some say the used the same cables on both sides and I found a part number F0R-U1470-10-00 which is different from the previous one. I also found one post saying that one is 1 ft longer.

Thank you in advance.

People with your vintage can confirm whether or not I'm right, but I believe your boat will use two cables the same length, while mine are definitely different lengths Port to Starboard. My cables run down the Starboard gunnel, then into the engine bay at the front corner, while I believe yours run under the floor down the middle(ish) of the boat. I believe it's relatively imperative that you connect the two cables together, and pull the new one through as you pull the old one out, as you don't have very good access to the cavities the cables go through.
