Well I chose to upgrade my cruise control. Nothing was wrong with my perfect pass, it has always been reliable and worked great for me. I am a gadget guy and wanted to try the electronic ridesteady system.

Total change out and replacement 3 hours.

Removal of perfect pass was pretty simple, cut wire ties, remove wires, remove components, reconnect the throttle cables.
FYI, Gonna sell the the used perfect pass system, when I get a chance to post it.

Install of ridesteady system was also very simple, run new wires, mount the components, wire tie and cleanup wiring, and power up and garage test system (lake is frozen LOL)
Also the ridesteady directions were very good and simple to follow

You are going to love the control knob!

I will be..Does anyone notice a difference in throttle tension when you take off the perfect pass? I believe Perfect pass adds some friction to the cables..
